Root cause - tree root - Gillespie Approach–Craniosacral Fascial Therapy

The Root Cause

My headaches in the 1970s were bad enough that I consulted my friends in my medical center. After all the examinations and tests, no one could figure out my problem.

I very clearly remember holding a plastic container of prescription pain medication in my bathroom and deciding I was not going to take pills for the rest of my life. I was determined to find out why I had the headaches and threw the drugs in the waste basket.

In looking for the root cause of my problem, I started to find the answers to health. I also became a professional outlier and was wayyyyy ahead of my time.

I lost my two practices in New England and in Western Pennsylvania. The Pennsylvania State Board of Dentistry wanted to take my dental license away. It was rough going being a pioneer in the 1980s and 1990s, but I continued on the journey.

In my TMJ periodontal practice, I found that adults with headaches, neck pain, and tooth grinding improved faster with adding this new therapy. Then I discovered children recovered from asthma, headaches, earaches, cognitive issues, and many other conditions. It appeared clinically that the diseases of adulthood were a fascial strain extension of the childhood issues.

When I began the Lancaster infant research in 2006, it appeared clinically that common childhood issues were rooted in infancy. Since the only traumas that these newborns experienced were during the 40 weeks of fetal life, common sense told me that soft tissue birth trauma can potentially cause lifetime issues. As the root of these conditions, the best solution would be to work out the fascial strains in the newborns as preventative therapy.

If you visit the Health Conditions page, you will see hundreds of conditions that can be helped or even corrected with therapy. I am hoping that the world will connect these dots in time, and every newborn can be spared a lifetime of possible diseases.
