Multiple System Atrophy (MSA)

I see tight people. Their fascial web is tight. This is a different way of thinking about disease, health and wellness. I want to find the root cause of their tightness, rather than manage their issues for a lifetime.

Most people have had many traumas in life, but I have found that soft tissue birth traumas are at the root of many conditions. Patients can be treated at any age, but I am trying to tell the world that the best solution would be to work out the fascial tightness as close to birth as possible.

I am just now finding out about a medical condition—Multiple System Atrophy (MSA). I am loosely quoting from a website:

"Multiple System Atrophy is a rare neurodegenerative disorder that can cause many diverse symptoms in any combination with typical onset in the early 50s. Symptoms may include dizziness, difficulty initiating movement, body stiffness, poor coordination, urinary incontinence, and increased falls. One of the most important symptoms in MSA patients is the presence of sleeping abnormalities such as snoring, apnea, and stridor."

OK, these issues fit perfectly into our tightness model. A hypothetical patient has untreated birth trauma and continuing untreated traumas throughout her or his life. In the early 50s the ever tightening fascial web starts to cumulatively create malfunction in some of her or his body systems with no medical pathological explanation.

This concept is something to ponder … .

The Gillespie Approach is a massage modality that helps the body release its tight connective tissue or fascial web due to physical and emotional traumas. We are especially interested in working with newborns whose untreated fascial strain patterns can result in a lifetime of health issues.
