Baby’s Gas Pains, Trunk Strength, and Head Control Are Improving

I wanted to write a testimonial with a little back story. My daughter, Brooklyn, had her first Gillespie Approach–Craniosacral Fascial Therapy session yesterday with the man who helped my severe youth aura migraines over 20 years ago, Dr. Barry Gillespie. This man helped me tremendously when migraine doctors, specialists, neuros, etc. couldn’t figure out how to help me. Every migraine medication came with severe side effects that caused a lot of issues for me. (P.S.: I am not discrediting doctors in any way, but, in this specific instance, they weren’t able to help me.)

Dr. Gillespie performed Gillespie Approach–Craniosacral Fascial Therapy sessions on me and also referred me to a massage therapist who worked with fascial strain and deep tissue work, which, ultimately, both craniosacral and fascial work, helped get rid of my migraines practically altogether.

I remember speaking with Dr. Gillespie about his interest in babies and his theories behind infant trauma back when he was treating me. I was in middle school receiving treatments by him over 20 years ago. I remembered him telling me babies benefit so much from treatments. Well, that has stuck with me. I moved to New York City, where I met my husband, and here I am with my own daughter, who is now blessed to be seeing him for treatment since I moved back to the area where Dr. Gillespie practices.

Although she has been to only one session so far, I already see Brooklyn’s gas pains, trunk strength and head control improving.

Thank you, Dr. Gillespie. I will forever be grateful for your work and all of the treatment and help you have given me—and now for how you’re helping my baby girl.
