Hi Everyone....just an update on the Amish twins I saw in the NICU and then followed homebased thru Early Intervention. Mom called last week to cancel my visit for Friday..she said 'since turning 1, they have both seemed to grow up and not need CFT anymore'! What a joyous time! 24 week preemies who when I met them were both on O2, very sleepy, and not taking anything by mouth. One also had bilateral grade IV brain bleeds! Now, 1 year old - eating table foods...and not too far off track in their development! They still have PT but compared to other extreme preemies on my caseload who did NOT have CFT in the NICU...they are rockstars! Mom was very grateful!
