The Clicking Tongue

After each of his first three Gillespie Approach visits, baby D’s nursing improved. His main structural issue had been back arching, which was straining into his left TMJ.On today’s fourth visit his mom said he was now clicking his tongue. This was a new symptom, but in my world just another layer of the oral onion waiting to be peeled.Clinically his left TMJ strain had cleared nicely, but his tongue was tight. The unique therapeutic aspect was his mid-back fascial strain during his arch was pulling into his tongue, creating the clicking. The nursing issue would not completely clear until the back arching cleared.A problem in one part of the body can cause a distant, seemingly unrelated condition. The Gillespie Approach forces the provider to look at the body’s entire craniosacral fascial system in the space-time continuum.
