Volleyball has become quite popular for young women. Consequently, I am now seeing a rash of craniosacral fascial injuries.
Typically, a woman will be struck in the head with the ball and develop headaches. On my examination, the brain cycle will be very restricted or at zero seconds.
The most important aspect of that trauma is to feel the potential fascial strain in the neck going down into the body. The trauma is not just to the head but affects the entire full-body craniosacral fascial system.
The goal in therapy is to let the body revisit that trauma and assist in its release for authentic healing. At the end of the visit, her normal brain cycle should be restored. If not, another visit may be needed.
