Zero-Second Brain Cycle Revisited

“My soul is stuck.” What a profound statement.

A thirty-five-year-old mother presents with feeling like her head has not been right for her whole life. Her notes below best describe her condition.

A Mother Writes

"My head feels light and cloudy, especially after eating. Very uncomfortable. Feels like having a veil on my head. Much felt on my forehead and eyelids. Movement can better the situation. Physical activity also gives lightheadedness.

During stressful days, my head hurts, but not the usual headache. It feels like scalp or under-scalp pain, mostly in lines. Tender to touch.

With lightheadedness comes brain fog and some agitation in the chest area. Through the day, I go through these episodes, and the day feels gone. I get fatigued easily. I keep taking breaks regularly.

Sometimes, sipping an electrolyte drink makes my head feel better. Being less stressed and sleeping enough can keep things a bit under control. Otherwise, life gets hard.

I am sensitive in general, sensitive to bright light, harsh smells, and loud noise. I have a diagnosis of UARS from a specialist who found epiglottis collapse during a drug-induced sleep endoscopy."

Dr. Barry Gillespie Writes

This describes what life can be like at zero-second brain cycle. I could feel no brain motion, and she has also worn metal frame glasses for twenty years, compounding her cranial restriction.

On the first visit, her brain cycle opened to forty seconds, and she felt freer and more relaxed. She will be changing to plastic frames soon to allow her brain to continue to expand and contract.

I stress the critical importance of the work at birth. As a child, she was always fussing and crying. I believe that she has suffered her entire life from the effects of her birth trauma. I am hoping that therapy will "free her soul" and be life-changing for her.
