It is starting to happen—finally.
In the 1980s and 1990s, I noticed that treated infants and children generally did well in school. I hypothesize that because their craniosacral fascial systems were open with great brain cycles, their brains and nervous systems functioned at a higher level.
One might ask, “What is the scientific proof behind that phenomenon?” I have no pure scientific proof. Since research studies, costing millions of dollars, were out of reach, I based my findings on clinical observations over 45 years.
Some of the greatest discoveries in medicine occurred before the introduction of evidence-based medicine and “real science” in the 1960s. Vaccines, antisepsis, and antibiotics had already been well accepted into the culture because they just worked.
When I founded this approach almost 50 years ago, I paid attention to what made medical sense to me and what worked. While treating the Amish community and watching hundreds of fussy babies become happy babies, I knew that I was on to something big.
Young Amish girls are raised to be mothers like their own mothers, grandmothers, and foremothers. Since they are experts in the maternal world, they are the last word in infant happiness.
I also ask the big question for the science buffs, “How can you quantitatively define a fussy and a happy baby?” Any mother in the world can answer that question without doing a meta-analysis.
Recently, a local tutor has been referring his clients to me. Parents became incredibly happy with the cognitive results as their children with zero-second brain cycles rose above the 200-second mark.
As their brains and nervous systems began to shine brightly, the tutor found these students were much more alert, motivated, and responsive to his teaching.
He described to me how it was as if a gate was finally opened, and they could hear his methods clearly for the first time. This therapy allowed him to fill in gaps rapidly and effectively where previous progress had faltered.
As a result, their classroom test scores jumped dramatically where the parents started to get excited. When the standardized test scores came back with huge gains, they went off the walls with joy.
That objective result brought siblings and parents into the office for treatment. It was a great feeling to be a part of that family experience.
I wish I had this work when I was tutored in boarding school for English composition and physics. I believe that the Gillespie Approach will result in a major advancement of academic excellence in America.
I also believe that this will happen when the Gillespie Approach becomes the newborn standard of care. Not only will America have happier babies but also smarter children.
