Welcome to the Gillespie Approach

CRANIOSACRAL FASCIAL THERAPY (CFT)

When Dr. Barry Gillespie began his healing journey in 1977, he developed the Gillespie Approach—Craniosacral Fascial Therapy (CFT). Through decades of exploration and clinical discovery, he came to recognize the vital role of the craniosacral fascial system in whole-body health. His vision is for CFT to transform care from birth through adulthood by identifying and addressing the underlying tension and fascial restrictions that influence how the body moves, functions, and heals.

What is the Gillespie Approach?

The fascia, the three-dimensional soft tissue web from head to toe, connects every structural cell of the body. Within that matrix lies the craniosacral system, the soft tissues which pump cerebrospinal fluid out into this fascial web.

This craniosacral fascial system needs to be open to function optimally. From conception to adulthood, physical and emotional traumas can tighten this system, create layers of dysfunction, and cause the above health issues.

The Gillespie Approach-Craniosacral Fascial Therapy (CFT) can help free these soft-tissue restrictions so that the body can return to health. This gentle modality does not involve drugs, surgery, medical technology, chiropractic adjustment, or osteopathic manipulation.

The CFT practitioner provides helping hands which deal with the underlying root cause of disease(s) and result in authentic healing. CFT can be the missing piece for many patients.

Our ultimate goal is for providers to address on day one the many fascial strains that can prevent newborns from thriving. As we redefine infant health with informed touch, parents can raise a happy baby who can breathe, breastfeed, digest, poop, and sleep well to become the best they can be.

Our bottom line for the world’s parents: A Happy Baby = A Happy Family = A Happier World.

We turn fussy babies into happy babies who can breathe, breastfeed, digest, poop, and nap well.

We help children achieve peak physical, emotional and cognitive health so they can be the best they can be.

We help adults identify and correct the causes of many chronic and often mysterious health conditions.

“I see a world where every newborn is free from a lifetime of suffering due to birth trauma."
