The Infant TMJ Onion
I am seeing a baby with lactation issues for an intensive visit. You never know what is in anyone’s onion. She had the typical pelvic twist, deep low back strain, and shoulder/neck tightness.
Initially there was severe strain in her left TMJ; her first visit was fierce. I could feel no strain in her right TMJ; one could easily have said it was clear. When the left TMJ cleared, the right TMJ started to show its strain.
Today that turned into a bear extending down into her throat and neck. No wonder she has had lactation issues. For infant practitioners look for many layers of the onion.
