Instant healing - hand over hip joint - Gillespie Approach–Craniosacral Fascial Therapy

“Instant Healing”

On rare occasions, a patient can feel immediate results with the Gillespie Approach. It even amazes me when it happens.

A thirty-seven-year-old woman presented with pain in her hips, especially the right one. She also had some swelling in her neck.

The backstory was that she was born in Eastern Europe with hip dysplasia. There was no treatment available in her country at the time. She had been living with hip pain and clicking off and on her whole life.

I usually see only infants with hip dysplasia. In a few visits, they usually do well as the fascial strain releases and the hip bones begin to normally function in their sockets. An adult with hip dysplasia was new for me.

She had a 50-second brain cycle and strain in her throat and hips. I worked on each hip once and had her walk down the office hallway. She immediately felt different.

We repeated that format a few times, and she excitedly reported no pain or clicking in either hip within 15 minutes. Even I was amazed.

She had her tonsils and adenoids removed, and her neck swelling appeared to be fascial tightness in the lymphatic system. I spent some time working that area and expect a good, but not an immediate, outcome.

I often wonder how a few patients can heal so quickly from major issues. The Gillespie Approach beautifully taps into the tremendous capability of the body to heal itself.

I will be seeing her on a followup visit to check both areas. Many times, some residual strain still needs to be released at this time.

Providers with Gillespie Approach Training are so needed to work with patients with many different aspects of structural dysfunction.
