The fascial web connects every cell of the body and one predominant strain can involve many conditions.
A former patient returned to me after eleven years with many issues. She had developed GERD, difficulty in breathing, heart racing, ground her teeth, and had nearsightedness.
In the conventional medical model, she is looking at many different specialists diagnosing many different conditions, with many possible therapeutics. In the craniosacral fascial world, I see a different story.
She presented with a very distinct clockwise trunk fascial twist. When I checked this twist against all of the above areas of her body that were restricted, they were all a part of that twist.
This type of thinking accepts the power of the fascial web as it connects every cell of the body. I am constantly trying to find the root cause of an issue(s), instead of trying to band-aid the problem.
To get into this mindset, the entire healthcare profession needs to think of disease differently. The body is one unified system where problems in one part of the body are connected to other parts.
During her first visit, I just worked on this dramatic fascial twist. It released a little at a time and will need more visits to completely clear.
At the end of the session, her brain cycle opened from 10 seconds to a great 140 seconds. There was still a lot of strain in her lower esophageal sphincter area (LES) and her jaw.
But the heart and lung areas along with the eyes looked calmer. Gillespie Approach Training is a must to connect the dots and deal with the root cause of an issue(s).
