Let’s Reset the Newborn Fascial Web

I believe that resetting the fascial web directly at birth is a critical factor for every newborn.

To simplify the newborn issue, only picture your full-body fascial web at birth without thinking about how all of its internal structures are positioned or functioning. The web may have developed perfectly in your embryonic stage, but fascial strain probably presented in your fetal stage, during your labor, and at your delivery.

When you entered the world, chances were very high that your unstrained embryonic web had been altered during those forty weeks due to soft tissue trauma. If you had in-utero strain, you had already been compromised for weeks at your birth. Your fascial web needed to be reset as soon as possible before your body physiology further adapted and compensated to the strain pattern(s).

Instead of trying to prevent each of the seventeen potential infant conditions piecemeal, the Gillespie Approach only focuses on relieving strain from your entire fascial web. The small birth body with fresh trauma presents a unique window of therapeutic opportunity. Since every tissue in the web is connected to everything else in the body, every cell in every system at completion has the potential to return to its remembered unstrained position to function optimally.

Since the fascial web is not currently reset for newborns, every affected body has to adapt and compensate, possibly for a lifetime. I am strongly suggesting that concept needs to change. This work done at birth would be such a gift to allow every newborn to be the best s(he) can be. That is my wish for the planet.
