CFT is all about facilitating/assisting the body in healing itself. The primary goal is to help the body correct its traumatic structural imbalance rather than manage the symptoms with medication(s).
A classic example is pediatric asthma. Medication can manage this disease for many children, possibly for a lifetime. We believe CFT can correct pediatric asthma by releasing the tight respiratory tissues of the craniosacral fascial system. By getting at the traumatic root cause of asthma early in life, the disease can fade away without continued medical management.
CFT at birth can offer the best possibility. We believe that the seeds of asthma and many other diseases can be sown at birth. Prevention is the best medicine.
