Mother: “Immediate Change” in Baby’s Disposition

I just wanted to share a quick testimonial for what Gillespie Approach–Craniosacral Fascial Therapy has done for my family.

My son was born at 32 weeks. He has been diagnosed with Pierre Robin Sequence (cleft palate and micrognathia) and 22q11 microduplication. He failed his newborn hearing screen twice. He was in the NICU for 67 days. When we brought him home, his stomach was hard as a rock, he would scream for an hour straight every evening, frequent spit-ups, and had a hard time sleeping. I started researching Gillespie Approach–Craniosacral Fascial Therapy and knew that it would be beneficial to him.

I finally found a Gillespie Approach practitioner who was willing to drive two hours one way to come work on him. She started working on him when he was 2 months old, and we noticed an immediate change in his disposition. Within 24 hours, his gas pain subsided, the spit-ups lessened, and he was sleeping through the night. We added in chiropractic work as well and found a second Gillespie Approach practitioner who works solely on infants.

He had an ABR hearing screen at the end of December, and he could hear all the way down to a whisper in both ears! He has a pleasant disposition, he continues to gain weight nicely, and he’s developing right on target with his actual age, despite his preemie status. I discussed Gillespie Approach–Craniosacral Fascial Therapy with his PCP, and she even called me out of the blue to ask for the contact info of our practitioners because she had another preemie patient who she thought could benefit.

This is a phenomenal modality. If you have an infant child, and you are on the fence, I highly recommend giving it a try!
