I just wanted to remind everyone working with infants that the CFT/IDM experience is usually completely different with newborns. A 10-week-old may have conditions, locked-in craniosacral fascial strains, crying/fussing during CFT/IDM, and mom’s reaction to it all. That can be challenging for everyone. A 10-minute-old will generally have no conditions, easier strains, little or no crying in IDM/CFT, and mom’s happier reaction with a successful birth. A little crying is not a problem. This can be a different world where the BBS and CFT/IDM will ideally be done in the future.
Dr. Barry Gillespie founded Gillespie Approach–Craniosacral Fascial Therapy, which provides patients with a freely moving brain, spinal cord and fascial web, all critical to optimal health. Dr. Barry Gillespie also created the Baby Brain Score and discovered effective therapeutic techniques for newborns and infants. Read more about Dr. Barry Gillespie.
