A mom came in this week for her first visit and repeatedly told me to just “fix” her child. I had to correct her in a friendly way each time.
We do not fix, heal, or cure anyone of anything. Instead we facilitate the release of the craniosacral fascial system to allow the body to heal and function better. Many factors of that patient will greatly determine how well that healing takes place.
CFT is never meant to be an end-all/cure-all modality. I am just Dr. Loose helping tight patients. In freeing up people, we are opening the possibility of quicker and more effective healing. As would be expected, the best results often come for newborns with fresh trauma and little baggage.
