Poor Sleeping Baby

Occasionally, loosening tight fascia may not be the complete answer for an infant.

While I was working on an older child, mom asked if I could look at her ten-month-old. He was a very happy infant, but in the past two months, he has been a more restless sleeper.

He often complained that his tummy hurt, and mom observed some gas and mild constipation. On examination, he had a triple-digit brain cycle and his fascial web felt totally clear. What could be the problem?

I always qualify myself to the parents as a massage therapist, not a pediatrician or medical doctor. From my almost 50 years of clinical experience, I would bet that dairy products were causing these issues.

In our Lancaster infant research, we found that about 16% of these babies still had these lingering issues even though they were strain-free. We found that the dairy protein, which crossed from mom’s breast milk to her infant, appeared to be the main culprit. We found that the co-operating babies did well after dairy was eliminated 100% after waiting up to a month for detoxification.

The hardest part was compliance because everyone loves their ice cream, pizza, yogurt, cheese, and other products with dairy in the ingredients. We just offered that advice as a recommendation since we cannot tell people what to eat.

I had a lifetime of sinus issues. At the age of 31, I had five sinus infections in one year. Then an alternative health practitioner suggested to cut out all dairy. I was in such a dire state that I did that, even when no dairy alternatives were available.

Since 1980, my sinuses have been clear with not one infection. The postnasal drip, the chronic sinus congestion, the sore throats,  blowing my nose all day, and all the outdoor allergies are gone.

I would love to have a big bowl of real ice cream, but only minutes before I die. I do not want to be around the next day to experience the misery.
