Mike and I had an interesting situation today. We have seen baby C a number of visits to clear throat strain. Everything else is fine. The cord was not wrapped, but the Amish dad delivered before the midwife could arrive at the house. Mom and dad rubbed the baby’s back for about a minute before taking its first breath. When the midwife arrived, the baby was OK and the midwife cut the cord. Does anyone have any thoughts about what could have happened before birth?
