Training Graduate Aiding Sister
By Ashlie Elizabeth
Sharing an early testimonial. 🤩 I took the Gillespie Approach Foundation Training in January and have been practicing on my family. Last week my 36-year-old sister was having eye issues and went to the ophthalmologist to get checked. The doctor sent her straight to the ER for an MRI after finding pretty severe papilledema in both eyes (inflammation of the optic nerve) and told her it could be a pseudo tumor (idiopathic intracranial hypertension), MS or a brain tumor.
Our dad passed from a glioblastoma brain tumor 3 years ago at the age of 57 so now having my sister being checked for a brain tumor was quite traumatic. Thankfully, they ruled out MS, a brain bleed and a brain tumor. However, she was diagnosed with idiopathic intracranial hypertension—her body is creating excess cerebrospinal fluid, causing increased pressure in her brain. Basically, her body acts like she has a brain tumor even though she doesn’t. It’s a pretty serious diagnosis with some harsh medications that hope to help but never cure.
My sister tried one of the medications but almost went into acidosis and experienced several severe side effects so she decided to stop taking it until meeting with her neurologist to look into alternatives. Two nights ago, I did CFT on her and this is the text I received the next morning. She started with a zero brain cycle and ended with a brain cycle of 80. We plan to do more sessions and I’ll be very interested to see how she progresses as her eyes will be reevaluated in 3 weeks. This will be an integral complementary therapy for her.
CFT is amazing and I am so grateful for the opportunity to learn this technique. God truly paved the way knowing my family would need this such a short time from when I learned. If you are considering taking the training, it is well worth the investment! I am looking forward to taking the Infant Training as soon as I can. 🙂
Thank you, Barry Gillespie, Holly Steflik and Kim Thomas Sherlock.
