Dizziness, Double Vision, Convergence Issue, and Migraine

Since all the body’s cells are connected in the fascial web, it can be an important factor in eye diseases.

A thirty-two-year-old woman presents with dizziness, double vision, and convergence issues for six years. Her eyes often vibrate, she gets dizzy when she looks at patterns, and she suffers from migraine headaches.

There is no known trauma causing these conditions. In elementary school, she had a hard blow to her head. She broke her right arm twice and had many leg injuries due to gymnastics. The most telling piece is that she was the hardest delivery out of five children.

She has consulted many doctors and has had vision therapy with prism glasses in vain. She has also worked with a physical therapist for eye issues without any positive results.

She presented with a zero-second brain cycle and had fascial strain throughout her body. Since many times these strains connect into the eyes, the primary concern is not just the eye strain, but the strains that are pulling on the eyes.

After five visits of therapy, she has had an unusual twelve-day stretch without a migraine headache. Her brain cycle has opened to 150 seconds, which is a good indication that the craniosacral fascial system is returning to proper function.

She has two distinct eye strains. When she holds her right eye in therapy, she goes into hard whiplash where her back fascia is pulling into that eye. When she holds her left eye, a twisting trunk strain pulls into that eye.

When I see this conflicted phenomenon, I can understand why the eyes are not happy together. The fact that the migraines are lessening is a positive sign of healing. The goal is to clear the strains from each eye to hopefully return them to normal function.

In my perfect world, she should have been checked after her hard delivery. Gillespie Approach Training can unlock the healing door for many patients.
