This is a six-week followup with the mom with low milk supply. Mom said her baby gained the normal weight and two more pounds during that time. She reported, to dad’s happy amazement, that both breasts are now the same size. So my question is how many women on the planet have different size breasts and milking capability because of untreated fascial strain? Mom said it was now the greatest feeling as a mother to be able to comfortably breastfeed her baby. Mom queried the lactation consultant who said that the weight gain probably occurred because the weak breast was now over-producing. When I became a periodontal surgeon 40 years ago, the fact that I would now be dealing with breast overproduction issues was nowhere on the radar screen.
