Our infant research told us that in utero trauma may create strain to the craniosacral fascial system. In peeling the onion of trauma with CFT, sometimes the adult/child will release at a very unusual position that cannot possibly be explained by any injury in life. The standing patient will slowly go into flexion and then the head and neck will twist about 90 degrees into an extreme strain pattern. We postulate that the fetus may have been stuck here for hours/days/weeks or even months. Since the craniosacral fascial system remembers all of its trauma from conception, this compressive imprint may be the root cause of the patient’s adult/child conditions. Please look for this phenomenon in your patients.
