CFT can be done at any age, but we believe that the unique window of opportunity of evaluation/therapy/prevention is only present at birth. Since the body has not had sufficient time to adapt or compensate to maintain homeostasis, soft tissue trauma is freshest for correction in that golden hour.
CFT is all about optimizing the quality of life at birth. How tight/twisted is that newborn? How well is the nervous system functioning? Is that infant in store for some now unknown, but future nasty condition(s)? What can be mitigated and prevented now to give the family more piece of mind?
We believe that newborns are falling through the cracks of the current global health care system in this respect. We believe that people do not have to suffer their entire lives because they had a difficult birth. We believe that CFT needs to become the standard of care at every birth.
