In our research we occasionally saw an infant who had a distinct pelvic strain pattern. When you picked up her legs, she would immediately twist into a pretzel strain pattern. We always wondered what happened to those untreated cases?
I am currently treating a 24-year-old woman with fibromyalgia. She has constant head, neck, thigh, and knee pain. She always feels tired and weak. No one signs up for this life, especially in your 20s.
When I held her right leg, it wanted to crossover to her left. When I held her left leg, it wanted to crossover to her right. When I held both legs, they immediately went into a pelvic pretzel strain pattern.
Since she has always felt tight and could never touch her toes in grade school, we were probably looking at the effects of untreated birth trauma. We needed to help peel her onion back to that trauma for her body to heal it.
In our research we found that the stability of the pelvis was critical for well-being. None of the infant head/neck issues cleared until the pelvis was totally relaxed.
The ultimate goal is to identify this issue at birth with the Baby Brain Score (BBS) and help clear it with craniosacral fascial therapy (CFT). We believe that people do not have to suffer their entire lives because they had a difficult birth.
