This past week I saw a young woman with severe anxiety that started after the difficult delivery of her second child. There was no medical explanation for her condition.
On my evaluation her craniosacral fascial system was completely locked down. After CFT on the first visit opened her cycle to 70 seconds, she reported yesterday she was feeling more like her old self. She opened to around 150 seconds on this second visit, and I expect her to do well.
The focus of many of these FB posts is about the babies. But in my world, mom is part of the birth equation and needs to be checked and treated for her own restriction(s) at birth. I believe that one possible cause of postpartum depression may be a restricted craniosacral fascial system.
