A Philadelphia nurse/mom took my seminar after she had her first baby. The following is her story about her second birth. “I had the easiest labor, less than 4 hours from start to finish, and I attribute much of that to CFT helping to get my body loosened, aligned, and ready to give birth. My midwife was surprised, given that my daughter was over 8 pounds and had her hand up by her head and came out hand first. I brought her to Dr. Gillespie for CFT when she was a few days old. I wanted to make sure she did not have any lasting effects from any strain being in the arm-up position. She had also been in this position during our 20-week ultrasound, so I figured she spent a lot of time with her arm up. Dr. Gillespie cleared the tight areas of her body and showed me how to work on her extra tight shoulder to help loosen the fascia. Today, she is the happiest baby I have ever had the pleasure of knowing, all smiles and giggles. She is also a very healthy baby, not getting whatever is going around day care. In April when she was just a few months old, more than half of the kids at day care had an ear infection, but my two girls remained healthy. As a nurse and mom, I wish all children were able to start life off so happy and healthy.”
