Lifetime needless suffering - elderly woman - Gillespie Approach–Craniosacral Fascial Therapy

A Lifetime of Needless Suffering

A patient shares her therapeutic experience:

“I am a 63-year-old woman. From early childhood, I have had allergies, asthma-type conditions, and being immunocompromised. I used to get bronchitis six times a year as a child after every cold.

“As an adult, in addition to traditional medical doctors, I have done holistic, naturopathic, and regenerative therapies. Through the years, I have managed to lessen how often I get sick. But every time I get a cold, it always goes to bronchitis or, possibly, pneumonia.

“I started seeing Dr. Barry Gillespie approximately two months ago for craniosacral fascial therapy. He discovered tight fascia in my body and noticed I had a lot of restriction in my throat and upper chest.

“About two weeks ago, I started to get sick with a cold, and, amazingly, for the first time ever, it remained just a cold. I did not have any breathing issues or any need for nebulizer treatments or antibiotics.

“Is this coincidence or not? I’ll go with the Gillespie Approach, which seems to be improving my life.”

This terrific story shows how untreated birth trauma can affect a patient for a lifetime. It also demonstrates the incredible capability of the body to heal birth trauma, even at an advanced age. I have seen this story repeat itself many times in my 47 years in this field.

When parents bring their babies to me, they may only be focused on the fussiness issues. In reality, the nervous system is rebalancing to function optimally.

Usually, the child at three years of age can have noticeably greater cognitive abilities than his or her piers. When the child attends school, boredom may set in quickly.

The child also has a greater chance of a healthier childhood by not having to carry the baggage of untreated birth trauma. Gillespie Approach Training is a must for all neonatal providers.
