I never thought that I would ever see this in my career.
A 72-year-old woman presented with right-sided migraines, pressure in her head, fatigue and pain in her right hip for decades. She was hopeful that the Gillespie Approach would help her.
She had a zero-second brain cycle and fascial strain running from her pelvis into her head. After the first visit, her brain cycle opened to 40 seconds, as the tissues released well.
She surprised me with her enthusiastic comments on the second visit. Her headaches and pressure were gone, her lower-back pain was gone, and her good energy level returned. She felt great.
When I examined her, her brain cycle had gone from the initial 40 seconds to 90 seconds during the week. Her body freed up on its own without any therapy.
I have seen this occasionally, and I have felt that the body was healing itself beautifully. Our main goal is to help the body free up so that it can heal itself—exactly what was happening here.
On the second visit, a deeper strain in her body released. A trunk twist, extending into her neck and head, opened beautifully.
Her brain cycle measured an astounding 240 seconds. That is virtually unheard of in two adult visits, much less anyone over 70 years of age.
Usually, I am wondering what went sideways during a patient’s care. What was so special about this patient that she had a seemingly miraculous turnaround?
As a young girl, she became a vegetarian and has been vegan for most of her life. She had a meticulously clean diet and lifestyle. She has sought only holistic care and has avoided toxic therapies.
My theory is that the Gillespie Approach was the missing piece for her. I believe that a combination of healthy living principles plus the structural aspect of our work can be an excellent combination for well-being.
Gillespie Approach Training can unlock the healing door for patients.
