Today turned out to be “Diaphragm Thursday” at my office with three infants/toddlers. With craniosacral fascial strain in this area, three different pictures presented.
The first baby had a history of pneumothorax and had severe strain in the diaphragm/chest area. The second toddler had a recent history of pertussis. His lingering tight respiratory system was not clearing colds/viruses/toxins well. The third baby had strain running from his left diaphragm up into his shoulder/neck as part of his torticollis.
When you are doing CFT for infants and toddlers, you need to think on your feet and connect the dots in breaking new ground.
