For a scientific finding to be true, one of the most important aspects is that others must replicate the results in many different areas of the world.
According to the leadership of NIH, one half of all biomedical research is not true. It begs the question, “Which half is true?” Since no one has the answer to that question, it leads one to believe that the results of all scientific research cannot be trusted.
A critical tenant for any scientific finding is that the same results must be found by others in different locations. For example, no matter where anyone researched penicillin, the medication would always be corrective for a specific condition.
If we extrapolate that concept to the Gillespie Approach, we can state that our work appears to be true. Early in my career, I found that my work could be consistently successful for children with asthma. If a child presented with asthma, I could expect with a high degree of predictability that therapy would help return them to health.
When I started to teach the work locally, I found that my students could replicate my results for infant, child, and adult conditions in the Philadelphia area and beyond. When Holly Steflik and Kim Sherlock train people all across America, we have found that graduates can successfully replicate the work too. We found that no matter where you live in America, therapy is effective for patients.
When they trained in England and the Republic of South Africa, we found that those local graduates could replicate the work also.
We are especially effective for newborn and infant issues. No matter where you live on the planet, you must have spent time in a uterus and gone through the birth process, either vaginally or by cesarean section.
Since soft tissue trauma over those forty weeks is ubiquitous for newborns everywhere, the craniosacral fascial system becomes restricted and creates many fussy-baby conditions. The Gillespie Approach has shown to be effective for babies everywhere we have trained.
This fact transcends race, nationality, religion, and all ideologies. I feel confident that we could teach this work anywhere in the world, and all babies there would respond positively.
Some people may be skeptical of our work by demanding evidenced-based randomized, controlled, and double-blinded trials. Since we are not in a financial position to make that happen and practice outside of the conventional medical community, we believe that our work can instead stand up to the scrutiny of scientific eyes with the ability to successfully replicate our results.
