Since 1980, mothers of Gillespie Approach–Craniosacral Fascial Therapy infants have told me exceptional stories about their growing children.
Now I tell every mom on the last baby visit that I expect her child will be very smart. “When s(he) is around 3, I expect s(he) will be doing things that other children that age will not be doing. When s(he) reaches school age, s(he) may become quickly bored because of an unchallenging educational system.”
As a recent example, a mom had her Gillespie Approach–Craniosacral Fascial Therapy-treated 3-year-old, originally treated at 1 week of age, at a local park. She told her mom that when she got off the swing and did a little dance, she was “improvising.” She then explained “improvising” perfectly to her older cousin. Her mother and another observing woman were amazed.
I believe that when therapy is completed as close to birth as possible, the nervous tissues, consisting of the central, autonomic, enteric nervous systems, and nervous tissue in the extracellular matrix or fascial web, are positively affected. As the newborn grows, all of these systems can program optimal function.
I believe that when a generation of newborns receives this work, the mental health field will positively shift, and the educational system will advance accordingly.
