I found in the medical literature a possible explanation of our CFT clubfoot correction. When a joint(s) is kept immobile for an extended period of time, the connective tissue may thicken around it and cause restriction of function. Remember that the fascial web connects every bone cell, so some curvature of the bone may also be present. Bone is not a concrete substance, but living tissue that replaces itself every few years. CFT appears to relieve the strain in the area to restore normal function.
