A new patient came in yesterday for Gillespie Approach treatment. She felt great before her baby was born but has felt miserable for a few years since then. She had a difficult 23 hour labor, and, bingo, she presented yesterday with zero cranial and sacral cycles.
I am sure some mothers reading this post now have experienced this feeling. Her restriction issue appeared to have been due to the scarring of her episiotomy.
Birth can create serious craniosacral fascial trauma for mom to restrict her craniosacral fascial system. If I ruled the world, as soon as every mom gives birth, she would be checked so that her craniosacral fascial system is still open.
