Torticollis and Colic Corrected in Baby

To you, this might just look like a sleeping baby, but to us, this is an accomplishment. I can’t say that Cayde never slept, but it was never peacefully.

He would always be grunting or jolt himself awake, trying to pass gas. The doctor only recommended gas drops and to watch what I eat, but even with drops and cutting everything under the sun out of my diet, you could always tell that he was always uncomfortable, and it broke my heart.

Earlier this week, we took him to Philly to see Dr. Barry Gillespie to do Gillespie Approach–Craniosacral Fascial Therapy to help with his torticollis. What we got was so much more.

Not only was he able to loosen the fascia in his neck, but he loosened the fascia around his digestive organs. And y’all, this baby is a new baby. He is calm, his colic is completely gone and you can just tell he is more relaxed.

As a mother, this is by far the best decision I have made for my child thus far. I no longer have to constantly hold him to comfort him, his nursing has improved and he is sleeping much longer.

Sometimes, you have to research things on your own and make health choices outside of what your doctor recommends. If any mamas out there are dealing with any of the issues that I was, please look into the Gillespie Approach. It has changed our lives!

Big shoutout to Christina Webster Carson for pushing us to go and get this therapy for Cayde. You’re the real MVP.
