Sustained compressive in-utero strain - mother holding baby - Gillespie Approach–Craniosacral Fascial Therapy

More Confirmation of Sustained Compressive In-Utero Strain

I am seeing a local baby with torticollis, plagiocephally, and a left head tilt. Mom said he got stuck in a breech position at 32 weeks and never moved for his last six weeks.

Sustained craniosacral fascial pressure with abnormal positioning is the hallmark for these babies. Fortunately, her doctor did a successful external cephalic version (ECV) with an epidural to avoid a C-section.

In Gillespie Approach–Craniosacral Fascial Therapy, his left shoulder quadrant, shoulder joint, and neck fascial strain are releasing well. Upon completion, I always recommend an osteopathic or chiropractic evaluation for physiologic neck vertebral alignment. Since the fascial strain is gone, any adjustments can usually hold well.

In my world, this child should have been cleared at birth to avoid all of the current drama and should have left the hospital as a strain-free happy baby.
