The body heals itself in its own time and not before.
A patient in her 40s was peeling the layers of trauma from her onion during her fourth visit. The third visit had focused on her wrapped umbilical cord appearing as a red throat ring, and this visit was continuing that ordeal.
She was feeling a lot of pressure and burning in her throat with some coughing. She was also having some difficulty swallowing with a new a lump in her throat. For forty-plus years her body had adapted and lived with compromised function, and now it had to quickly learn how to work correctly.
While she was experiencing this phenomenon, something unusual happened. She developed a sharp pain at her frontal hair line, exactly where she had a sledding accident more than thirty years ago. She had a deep gash and many sutures in that area of her head at twelve years of age.
In its wisdom her body’s fascial web was revisiting that trauma to heal it. She appeared to be dealing with both issues simultaneously, something I had never seen before. Since she physically appeared to be on overload, I gave her a break before continuing therapy.
When we truly listen to the body and let it do whatever it needs to do to heal itself, I believe we have the best possibility of experiencing authentic healing. Even with all of our advanced medical scientific knowledge, we cannot structurally fix the fascial web. Instead we allow it to run the show as we facilitate the healing.
In my perfect world she would have had the work at birth and after each major accident to prevent many lifetime health issues.
We hold the Light for the unborn billions. We feel compassion for all suffering infants. We see a world where every newborn is free from a lifetime of suffering due to birth trauma. Our aim is for every neonate to experience the wonder of therapy. Our goal is to create a global shift of consciousness around newborn health.
