Fifty Medications

Sometimes the stories I hear at the office take my breath away.

A 52-year-old man presented with many subtle issues. His main complaint was that he has always had pressure in his head.

He had migraines and asthma as a child. He described his childhood as “debilitating”—sad for me to hear that expression.

He had concussions and blows from martial arts. In his twenties, he knew that something was off because of some cognitive issues.

He presented with memory loss, fatigue, difficulty focusing, difficulty concentrating, lacking initiative, and sometimes just did not want to leave his house. He had headaches, sleep problems, and ADHD.

He had been to countless doctors in his life. He estimated that he has been on a mind-blowing 50 different meds, mostly psychiatric drugs, for help.

He had also tried many complimentary healing modalities such as massage and acupuncture unsuccessfully. He was open to my work and wanted to give it a try.

His first visit involved the front release technique as his brain opened to an amazing 80 seconds. On his second visit, the fascial web started to talk more as he released to 100 seconds.

As I was holding his throat, a red ring appeared that strongly indicated that he was born with his cord wrapped. I asked him to talk to his 79-year-old mom about his birth.

She reported that, yes, indeed, he was blue with the cord wrapped around his neck. The doctors whisked him away and later presented her with a “normal pink” baby. She was worried about his health, but they assured her everything was fine.

His brain cycle reached 150 seconds after the third visit. I am hoping that his brain can rewire in neuroplasticity so this work can be a life-changer for him.

For years I have talked about the dangers of the cord wrapped. This is an extreme example of a life becoming unnecessarily harsh.

Therapy at birth can change so many lives on the planet. Gillespie Approach Training is critical for newborn providers.
