This is a mother’s two-year follow-up about her baby. The midwife delivered him after a 71-hour labor.
As you would expect, he had multiple issues. His mother, a chiropractor who made the six-hour round-trip drive to Baby Day in Bird-in-Hand, Pennsylvania, about 10 times, had this to say:
“Our son is almost 2½, and he continues to amaze and astonish us. His vocabulary and ability of expression are fun to witness. Without attending school, he knows his ABCs, all colors and shapes (even octagon), can identify all upper and lower case letters, and count to 15. His coordination is amazing. While other kids his age were trying to master walking, he was kicking soccer balls off the bounce (self-taught) with force and accuracy. Now his hand/eye coordination is shocking us, whether he is hitting a T-ball or using a tennis racket. Everyone is starting to take notice at just how special he is. Overall he is smart, happy, and articulate. I am confident that the BBS/CFT played an immeasurable role in his development. Thank you for doing what you do, it enriches lives in a way nothing else can.”
