About 7 years ago a CFT graduate from the Lancaster, Pa area, Lester Hurst, spent seven visits working on a newborn with clubfoot. This was groundbreaking work showing the power of CFT. Lester said that a lot of craniosacral fascial strain released, and the child appeared to be normal upon completion. He recently related, “My last update on the clubfoot baby was that when she was running, the parents couldn’t tell that she ever had a problem!”
The incidence of clubfoot is about one baby in 1,000 in the USA. We feel that clubfoot appears to be severe foot fascial strain in an abnormal utero position for an extended period of time. We believe that CFT should be tried first before casting and surgery.
