A mother recently made some heartwarming comments about our work.
She called to say that her seven-year-old daughter had a pain in her left knee. She also attributed her child’s excellent health to our work done at infancy. She has rarely seen a pediatrician.
This is another example of structural immunity of our work at birth. The Lancaster research showed that if the infant could become strain-free, the child would have a better chance of being healthy, and the typical traumas of early childhood would have little or no effect on the brain cycle and fascial web.
When they presented at my office, I asked mom about the medical opinion of her knee. Usually children see a pediatrician, maybe an orthopedic specialist, and then maybe a physical therapist. If the problem does not resolve, they come to me as a last resort.
Instead, mom said that she came to me first. Wow, I was grateful for her appreciation of our work.
The child presented with pain in her left knee. Mom said that she had been doing gymnastics since she was three years old.
Gymnastics may be a fun activity, but it is definitely a traumatic sport. Young children can take hard falls, and resulting strained fascia can sometimes override our infant work.
She had a beautiful 240-second brain cycle, still holding that 200-second infant benchmark brain cycle. But I discovered a fascial strain pattern running from her left foot through her knee and into her left hip.
In therapy, the fascial web showed me two different traumas. She had a terrible left ankle twist, and had taken a hard landing on the sole of her left foot. The fascial web remembers all of its traumas.
The tissues released cleanly, and I anticipate a nice recovery. Gillespie Approach Training can unlock the healing door for patients.
