Emotional and physical trauma - Gillespie Approach–Craniosacral Fascial Therapy

Healing After Emotional and Physical Traumas

The beauty of the fascial or connective tissue web is that it connects every structural cell of the body in space and time. The brain motion of the craniosacral system feeds this entire web with cerebrospinal fluid creating the craniosacral fascial system. We all have our own Internet-like system where everything is communicating with everything else in the space-time continuum.

As examples, the muscular system, primarily consisting of a thin layer of fascia surrounding every one of millions of muscle cells, can hold traumatic strain patterns. Since every cell of every organ is connected to this web, the kidneys, heart, liver, and other organs can hold strain to possibly diminish their function. Specific structures like the pulpal tissue of every tooth, the periodontal ligament cushioning every tooth in the jaws, the sutures between the cranial bones, and the vitreous matrix within each eye can all be strained in this craniosacral fascial web.

We believe that this system can hold the memory of past physical and emotional traumas. That is a new concept for most people. Are you ever completely healed from a severe emotional trauma? When a broken bone heals, are you fully cleared of all the emotional and physical aspects of that event? Does emotional/physical birth trauma becomes part of your consciousness for a lifetime? We believe that CFT at birth can help to significantly improve your quality of life experience.

We feel compassion for all suffering newborns. Every day about 361,000 humans enter the world, and many will suffer their entire lives because of the negative effects of birth trauma. Our goal is simple: contented babies and happy families create a more peaceful planet.
