I was working with a seven-year-old boy today who had severe craniosacral fascial strain in his diaphragm area. I spent most of the session helping his body to release this strain. The back story: When he was about one month old, he had the hiccups every day until he was twelve-months-old. In my world his craniosacral fascial strain could have been identified (BBS) and mitigated (CFT/IDM) at birth preventing this issue.
Dr. Barry Gillespie founded Gillespie Approach–Craniosacral Fascial Therapy, which provides patients with a freely moving brain, spinal cord and fascial web, all critical to optimal health. Dr. Barry Gillespie also created the Baby Brain Score and discovered effective therapeutic techniques for newborns and infants. Read more about Dr. Barry Gillespie.
