A neurologist at a major children’s hospital in Philadelphia diagnosed an 18-month-old boy with mild cerebral palsy. As an infant he had torticollis and a flat head. He wore an expensive helmet for six months that had no effect. He also had some speech and motor delays. At my initial visit his cycles were zero with a distorted head. After five visits of CFT, his parents can hardly believe his progress. His head shape is normal and his delays are fading away.
All I am doing is treating his craniosacral fascial system with CFT. The brain function and body restriction are all powerfully connected in this one system. After 35 years I am still amazed how dramatically the head shape can change. Fascial strain in the body can really distort the skull….In my perfect world the child would have been red-flagged at birth with a low BBS. CFT THEN would have been a great preventative service….these events never would have happened! OK, it was missed at birth, but the Early Intervention therapists could have done CFT to correct the problem. The parents keep asking me why no one is doing this work? I have been asking that question for years.
