Connecting the dots in the NICU: I am now seeing a 4-year-old girl who was born at 24 weeks with ROP (Retinopathy Of Prematurity) and BPD (BronchoPulmonary Dysplasia). She presented to me with eye and throat issues. Her onion has peeled back with CFT to that time where the fascial strain pattern is running from the trachea (BPD) to the left eye (ROP). In essence, both of these conditions, along with her reflux, appear to be caused by the same fetal strain pattern. Currently in the medical model, these two conditions are thought to be separate and unrelated. For true healing to occur, I believe that the body needs to address and heal that causative fetal strain pattern.
