Screaming in the Car Seat

I evaluated a 22-month-old today who was unsettled with temper tantrums. He had feeding issues at birth, a tongue-tie and reflux.

For CFT practitioners, here is the tip-off: he screams in his car seat. When a parent tells you that, your “archer” bulb lights up in your brain. Sure enough, he was a big-time archer in the clinical evaluation.

I immediately directed dad to page 45 (arching) of the infant research article on his smart phone to read as homework. Someday, arching will be a huge red flag indicating CFT. Better yet, we believe that CFT at birth can prevent a lifetime of suffering.
