We did very well with CFT/IDM correcting our strabismus babies in the Baby Day research project. We found craniosacral fascial strain in two major patterns: First, as with all of the upper body conditions, strain originated in the pelvis, traversed through the trunk and neck, and ascended into the eye area. That strain could have just as easily gone in the sinus, ear, TMJ, or other cranial areas. Secondly, fascial strain was usually present in any combination of the four rectus and two oblique eye muscles causing eye distortion. Where ever there is a muscle, there is fascia and the potential for strain. The sequence of CFT/IDM was clearing the major strain patterns in the body first and then focusing on the eyes. As with all of our conditions, therapy as close to the birth as possible is the best avenue, of course.
