The treatment plan is always to listen to the body for the layer of the onion it wants to heal at that moment in the session. I never try to manipulate, adjust, or fix anyone. I just try to be the best possible listener. I also know that the Gillespie Approach is just one piece of the health/well-being puzzle. A patient’s lifestyle has a great bearing on their healing ability.
Patients often ask me, how many visits will treatment take? In all honesty I never know because I cannot tell how much trauma their craniosacral fascial system is holding. Also, how far down the rabbit hole do they want to go? Plus, I do not know how quickly they can physically and emotionally release their old trauma(s).
A mom has had migraines most of her life. Today’s seventeenth session revisited an in-utero compressive strain pattern with her right pelvic fascia triggering her left occipital pain.
The Gillespie Approach attempts to find the root cause of a structural issue. Our work is corrective; we are not the disease management business. Our goal is to help the body emotionally and physically heal old traumas in the space-time continuum.
Since birth trauma is a common issue for many child/adult patients, our mission is for every newborn to be checked/treated to avoid a lifetime of suffering. This concept is my sincere wish for the unborn.
