The Golden Hour is a medical term that defines the core principles of rapid intervention offering the best possible outcome for trauma cases. Our BBS/CFT/IDM fits beautifully into that concept. If the Baby Brain Score (BBS) identifies potential neurological issues minutes after a traumatic birth, CFT/IDM can immediately help mitigate its effects and possibly avoid a lifetime of suffering. Therapy can continue, as the infant allows, to take advantage of that narrow window of healing opportunity. The BBS/CFT/IDM can be done later in infancy/toddlerhood, but that body has now compensated, adapted, and locked into compromised function and may be more recalcitrant to change, resulting in crying and general fussiness.
Dr. Barry Gillespie founded Gillespie Approach–Craniosacral Fascial Therapy, which provides patients with a freely moving brain, spinal cord and fascial web, all critical to optimal health. Dr. Barry Gillespie also created the Baby Brain Score and discovered effective therapeutic techniques for newborns and infants. Read more about Dr. Barry Gillespie.
