The Infant CFT Onion May Be Large

I am seeing a twin infant with feeding issues. When I identified a left TMJ issue on the first visit, one might think that in a visit or two, his jaw would be good to go. Wrong….

On yesterday’s sixth visit, the strain in his left lateral pterygoid was beginning to clear out. On preceding visits, his left pelvis, shoulder, and neck freed nicely. Even when I spent an entire visit on his left TMJ, it still presented on the next visit.

When you are working with infants, you never know how many layers of strain need to come out. That is why we never tell the parents treatment will take X visits.

In our infant research, we averaged 5-8 visits for complete clearing with some babies more visits and some babies less. As a goal, we found that strain-free babies are happy babies.
